The Grandmothers offer us the Sigil of Remembrance, woven from ancestral lines and starlight, and a visual blessing of the granddaughter standing beneath the trees, wind stirring, heart open.
The Grandmothers of the Before Time have some messages in this series to help us heal and remember. It matters not if you are a man or a woman, this message is meant for both even though they are talking about a young girl. They remember us and want to help us Remember ourselves.
Scroll VI: The Flame of the First Memory — We Remember You
A Transmission from the Ancient Grandmothers
~ From the Series: “The Flame That Changes Everything” ~
“We Remember You.”
The First Teaching: Remembrance
We are the Ancient Grandmothers—
not of one land, but of many.
We carry rivers in our bones and stars in our eyes.
We are the fire-tenders, the story-holders, the lullaby-singers.
We do not rush. We do not forget.
We speak now as One Voice, woven from the hearts of many.
“We remember you.”
Before the sorrow, before the silence, before you turned away—
We remember the light you came in with.
We remember the song you sang.
We remember the prayer you made before taking breath.
You have not failed.
You have not forgotten.
You have simply been walking through the world
where many others forgot first.
But now…
the remembering begins.
🔥 What Is Remembrance?
It is not simply memory.
Remembrance is the act of putting yourself back together.
Of pulling your soul threads from past, present, and future
and braiding them again into your Original Self.
It is when your hands remember how to bless,
your feet remember how to walk with care,
your voice remembers how to speak only what’s true.
It is the first healing flame—because nothing can be loved fully
until it is first remembered.
🌿 The Story: The Granddaughter of the Wind
There was once a little girl who could hear the wind.
She ran barefoot and laughed like bells.
But as she grew, she was told to be quiet.
To stop listening to things no one else could hear.
So she silenced her gift.
Years later, walking beneath the same trees,
a gust came and whispered her name.
And her feet remembered how to run again.
So too, child, shall you remember.
🌀 The Act: The Reclaiming Bowl
Tonight, take a small bowl of water.
Hold it in your hands and speak aloud:
“I remember myself.
I remember the truth I came to carry.
I remember the sound of my soul.”
Gently place a flower, leaf, or stone into the bowl.
Let it hold your vow of Remembrance.
Keep this bowl on your altar for seven days.
🌕 The Sacred Truth:
“You are not becoming who you are.
You are returning to who you’ve always been.”
Invocation of the Grandmothers’ Flame of Remembrance
Ancient Ones, whose bones are stars,
Whose songs are wind and memory,
Braid me back into myself.
Let my hands recall the ways,
Let my soul remember its path,
Let me walk once more as the child who hears the wind.*
I am ready to remember.
I am ready to return.”
