The spiritual journey doesn’t end with Ascension but transforms into an expanded experience of exploration and creation. However, like every journey on a personal level here on Earth it begins by taking one step at a time. It is difficult for us in our limited physical existence to see the higher perspective of what we are experiencing and the choice that face us. That is why even before we entered this Earthly existence, as part of our plan for this life, we have asked certain Angelic Beings and Beings of Light to help guide us from the Spirit realm to stay on track.
This task is not easy since, they are bound by the non – interference, free will mandate unless we ask for their help once we are incarnate. They are limited to leaving signs and hoping we will see and understand them, or trying to whisper in our ears and hope we hear and listen or placing thoughts, dreams or visions into our minds. We may see or hear these signs, visions and whispers and simply ignore them, or think they are our own thoughts. If we think they are our own thoughts and act upon them, YEAH, we have aligned to a higher perspective. If not, they will keep trying.
I am thankful for mine, even though I know they have to be frustrated with me. I have come to understand as I see others in need and try to help them, only to realize they aren’t listening and still continue on with the same actions, expecting a different outcome and complaining to me about their lot in life.
I hear someone in Spirit laughing as I write this. I know they are thinking finally she understands.
There is a saying, “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome.” Which reminds me of something a wise teacher told me decades ago. “If something you are doing has worked yet, it never will.”
Spiritual evolution doesn’t begin with this life or end with this lifetime. It is a process of the Oneness exploring, learning and expanding into Creation through us. Just like a child who is learning to walk must first crawl, and then as they find their footing, they sometimes fall, yet in the end, they get up and keep trying. Why? Because their parents, pick them up, and hug them and tell them it is okay and encourage them to try again.
Just like our guides and teachers are doing even if we don’t see or hear them. We simply need to continue asking them to help and show us the way and believe that they are there and they care about us. Then we will know just like the child learning to walk that we are not alone. One day in our faith of asking (prayer) and listening in silence we will hear in our thoughts the answer, or see the sign we having been asking to see, or suddenly feel their presence or know what we should do and feel a sense of peace.
It takes time. For most of us the knowing, hearing or sensing doesn’t come in the first attempt or even the first 20 or so. It also takes time to trust that once we hear or sense something that it isn’t just us making it up. A process of discernment. One key to that being does the answer bring us a sense of peace. Not a sense of justification that you are right and another is wrong, but a sense of peace that this will bring a better perspective for all. If one has to justify or defend their understanding or belief, it is better to keep quiet. Why? Because either the other is not ready or willing to hear and that is their right, or your belief is not of the highest perspective for all and needs to be contemplated.
But, what if I felt that sense of Peace, then know it is right for you at this moment but perhaps not right for all. We all evolve at different speeds and we have to allow others their choices and speed as our guides allow us ours. It is an amazing and frustrating journey upon which we are traveling. Sometimes a structure cannot simply be repaired, it must be torn down and rebuilt from the foundation up. This is hard for those who are displaced from their security and safety within the structure. However, if they focus not on the momentary inconvenience and keep their attention on the better more updated structure they will make it through easier.
Humans are resilient as is nature if left alone from human interference. I am reminded constantly to ‘focus not on that which I don’t want but on that which I do want’. Why because the law of magnetism, we draw to us that upon which we focus our thoughts, intent and energy. I am learning and trying each day to do this one thought at a time. It is not always easy, but like learning to walk, I can only do it one step at a time. If I fall, I get up, brush myself off and keep going. We are all in this together. Let us not beat each other up but support each other as best we can, and know that even if we don’t agree on all things we still all want the same in our lives and for our loved one. We want good health, shelter, food and safety.
The spiritual evolution is all around us, we need to allow ourselves to evolve and know it is not a sprint but a marathon.
