Creating Sacred Space and Embracing the Divine Feminine

Moments present themselves.

As we speak of the unification of the masculine and feminine energies, I awoke this morning and asked if there was something I could do personally. I was gently reminded of a process I have been moving through for the past few weeks.

At times, a physical representation arises—or simply an image upon which we can focus—to help us bring in energies of light, compassion, and unity.

I will share what has been unfolding.

I have an office in my home where I do bookkeeping. Both this space and our guest room have been filled with over forty years of accumulated items—things waiting to be sorted. I had put this off for a long time, until I felt a clear nudge to transform the guest room into a dedicated spiritual workspace, separate from my office.

With that decision, the clutter presented itself—not as a burden, but as an invitation.

This guest room has long been what we call the “John Wayne room,” filled with pictures and memorabilia gifted to my husband over the years—cowboy and western items that carry a certain energy. While I can feel a form of guardianship within that presence, it does not fully align with the energy I wish to anchor in this new space.

I sensed it would be right to keep some items, while moving the greater collection into the office. In this way, the guardianship energy remains within the home, but no longer dominates the space intended for spiritual connection and creation.

What I thought would be a simple rearrangement became a much larger process—one that has taken weeks instead of days. I find myself smiling as I write this.

It reminds me of when my mother and mother-in-law could no longer remain in their homes. As we sorted their belongings, we realized that had they been present, each item would have carried a story—one that would have slowed the process, yet enriched it in a different way. A gentle reflection for those who may one day walk a similar path.

In addition to the items in the guest room, my office holds a collection of Native American pieces, spiritual images, books, and art supplies—all now seeking new placement. So the process becomes one of clearing one space to make room in another, while discerning where each item belongs.

As I began moving the spiritual images into the guest room, replacing the previous décor, I felt an immediate shift in the energy. The space became lighter—more open, more aligned. It felt… illuminated.

Yesterday, I reflected on how these different energies—cowboy, Native American, spiritual—were being brought into relationship within my home. I wondered how they would harmonize.

It was then I felt the presence of the Divine Feminine gently arise, offering clarity: It is time.

I saw more clearly.

The masculine in its distorted expression of duality was symbolized by the cowboy archetype—driven by conquest and separation. The Native traditions, here and across the world, carried a more balanced expression—living in relationship with the land, with each other, and with Spirit.

With the arrival of colonizing forces came a shift—one that disrupted that balance. Not that there were no conflicts before, but the nature of the relationship with the land and life itself changed.

Many are unaware that the United States Constitution was influenced by the Haudenosaunee Confederacy—the Great Law of Peace, which united six nations under a shared system of governance rooted in balance. Chiefs, Clan Mothers, and Faith Keepers together formed a council that honored both masculine and feminine wisdom.

It is worth reflecting on this, especially as we mark 250 years as a nation—one built, in part, upon principles drawn from those who were later displaced and diminished.

The land that was once stewarded in harmony has, in a relatively short time, been mined, altered, and strained. And the cycles of exclusion continue, often toward those seeking the very same opportunities that earlier generations sought.

As I reflected, I recognized something deeper:

These patterns are not only historical—they are present within us.

Within myself. Within this country. Within many lands shaped by conquest and division.

And so, the call of the Divine Feminine is not abstract. It is necessary.

It is the energy of compassion, forgiveness, nurturing, and unconditional love that can begin to soften duality and restore balance—within individuals, and through them, into the collective.

My office, then, becomes more than a workspace. It becomes a symbolic field—a place where these energies can be consciously blended. A place where I can align with the balance of the Divine Masculine and Divine Feminine, allowing harmony to flow through my own being and outward into the world.

I have been working over the past year to establish what I call a “Golden Dome of Grace”—anchored by four pillars of the Blue Ray of Truth, filled with the Violet Flame, and centered by the Rose Flame of the Divine Feminine.

These are simple acts, yet powerful.

We each begin somewhere.

Perhaps you will notice something in your own life—a space, a pattern, a feeling—that is asking to be seen differently. An opportunity to bring forth the Divine Feminine in a way that restores balance.

As I continue setting up these rooms, I will do so with prayer and invocation—clearing what has been and welcoming what is ready to emerge.

We can create sacred space for ourselves and for those we love. And from there, we may feel guided to expand that field outward—into our communities, our lands, and beyond.

This is your path to walk.

Yet none of us walk alone.

All aspects of the Oneness that have remembered their nature stand ready to support us. We need only ask.

Whether man or woman, it is time to embrace the Divine Feminine—
to restore the Great Law of Peace within our own being,
and allow it to live again through balance, harmony, and presence.

Closing Blessing: The Sanctification of Space and Being

Beloved Presence of Light,
Breath of the One that lives within and through all things…

We pause now, not to become something new,
but to remember what has always been sacred.

As we stand within our spaces—
the rooms we inhabit,
the walls that have witnessed our lives,
the objects that have held memory—

we acknowledge all that has been.

With gratitude, we honor the energies,
the stories, the emotions, the moments—
seen and unseen—
that have moved through this space before now.

And with gentle authority of the Heart, we say:

What has completed its purpose may now be released in peace.

A Simple Sanctification Practice

You may walk your space slowly, with presence.

  • Open a window or door if possible, allowing fresh air to move through.
  • Place your hand upon a wall, an object, or simply your heart.
  • Breathe deeply—in through the nose, and out through the mouth.

As you do, you may speak softly or within:

“I honor all that has been held here.
I now release all energies that no longer serve the highest harmony of this space.
Return now to the Light, in peace and in love.”

Pause. Feel.

Then, as you continue, begin to invite:

“I welcome the presence of peace,
of compassion,
of balance and harmony.
May this space be filled with the Light of Truth,
the Flame of Love,
and the Grace of the Divine Feminine and Masculine in unity.”

If you feel called, you may visualize:

A gentle light entering the space—
golden, violet, or soft rose—
moving through the room,
touching each surface, each corner, each memory.

Not forcing…
but transforming.

Allow it to settle.

And now we seal:

May this space be sanctified in Love.
May it reflect the truth of my being.
May all who enter feel peace,
and all that unfolds here serve the highest good.

I stand as the living presence of harmony within this space.

And so it is.
