In 1997 I experienced the return to the fire with the Grandmothers. They were sitting at a fire just like this and made room to welcome me home. I had a long path still after that meeting, but I always knew after that what the story of the prodigal son really meant. The Beings of Love and Light are always awaiting our decision to return home.

for she knew the Earth could hold sorrow and still remain green.

When you feel stressed or panicked, you can hug a tree or sit with you back resting against it and it will take away the panic and stress and bring you peace. It takes the energy into the Earth to be transformed and used to help nature.

There was once a girl who stepped carelessly through the stream,

She didn’t notice, for she was chasing light.
But one night, the stones whispered in her dream:
“We too are teachers.”
From then on, she walked with eyes open to the small ones,
and the whole forest began to speak.

Reverence begins with small things.
When you listen to what others ignore,
you become part of the Song again.

Find five small things from the land around you—
a feather, a pine needle, a bit of bark, a fallen flower, a stone.
Bundle them with a red thread (or a string you bless with love).
As you wrap them, say:

The Earth will feel your honor.

Grandmothers of Moss and Bone,

Lady Master Venus is the Divine Complement of Sanat Kumara. She is a Being and the Essence of the Planet Venus where she and Sanat Kumara are located. Charity is more than giving money it is an action of love, that can be holding a hand or moving the lawn of an elderly or sick person, or feeding a feral animal or smiling at someone who has a heavy heart.
